St Hermans, the only residential park on the island, was started by the Camp family in 1932. Fourteen years later the company, St Hermans Estate Co Limited was formed. Under the directorship of Michael Camp, we have grown to become the largest caravan park operator on Hayling, with nineteen caravan parks, all of which are run from our head office at Lower Tye Farm (shown below).

Our caravan parks all have their own unique character with locations as varied as the waterfront at Chichester Harbour, the quiet rural area of the island and the seaside.

With the exception of The Hollies (our newest acquisition which is being upgraded gradually until all of the caravans are fully serviced), all of our parks benefit from a road, mains electricity, water and sewerage. Each park is within walking distance of a general convenience store and local pub.

Each park has a dedicated bin area with regular collections throughout the holiday season. The parks are patrolled daily with any unusual occurrences reported to the caravan owners.

The holiday season runs from 1 March to 31 October each year, although some parks are also licensed for an extended season to 31 December (subject to an additional charge) at the discretion of each caravan owner.
